  1. Christina N says:

    Generally it means a ‘small problem’

    “We had a wee problem when we ran out of clean spoons.”

    {Modernly, the word ‘wee’ has also been used to mean ‘going pee’ — so the phrase ‘wee problem’ should be considered in context.}

      Awesome advice Christina! Yes context is important for the word ‘wee’

      ‘Take a wee’ or ‘go for a wee’ or ‘need to do a wee’, all mean go to the toilet to pee.

      The use of the word ‘wee’ = “small” is coming orginally from Scotland.

      You can also say ‘A wee boy’ = ‘A small boy’ or ‘A wee bit late’ = ‘A little late’!

      I hope the word ‘wee’ is not a wee bit confusing! :)
