We are going to make sushi rolls, so the first thing we need to do is prepare the rice.
1. Wash the rice
Put some rice in a pot and then wash it.
Wash it until the water is clear.
You may need to wash it a few times!
2. Cook the rice
Put water into the pot.
Only put enough water to cover the rice by one finger joint.
Don’t put too much, or it will go soggy!
Don’t put too little, or it will burn!

My grandmother cookes the rice like you..
I like rice with milk. It is bolied rice with milk and pice of lemon and cinnamon.
In Spain there are many kinds of rice.
PAELLA VALENCIANA: rice with fried fish and vegetables
MOUNTAIN PAELLA: rice with fried meat and vegetables
BLACK RICE: rice with fied squid and squid’s ink a fried vegetables..

Wow! BLACK rice sounds interesting! Actually there is a Japanese dish that is similar to what you describe – using squid ink!
I am not a big fan of squid, but the other two dishes you mentioned sound great!
