Look at the different ways to use the word ‘about’:
What is this book about? (What is the TOPIC or STORY of this book)
It is about time for the train to come. (It is NEARLY time for the train to come)
I came home at about 10pm. (I came home AROUND 10pm)
ACTIVITY:
Rewrite these sentences so that the meaning does not change, without using the word ‘about’!
