Introduction to the IELTS exam

Today, let’s look at IELTS.

IELTS stands for ‘International English Language Testing System’.

There are four parts to the test:

• Listening
• Reading
• Writing
• Speaking.

This test is often used for university entry, getting a vise to work abroad and to be able to work in an English speaking country.
