Today, let’s look at Business Introductions!

When we meet new people, the first impression is very important! In business you need to make a good first impression.

When introducing people in business, it is important to introduce the less important person to the more important person.

Examples:

  1. Always introduce someone from your company to a client or customer.
  2. Always introduce a junior executive to a senior executive.

NEW VOCABULARY (double click each word to see what it means and hear the correct pronunciation):

Although there is a phrase that says, “ladies first”, in this case, I think that you have to follow the business rule and introduce first the junior executive.

      Hi Naira
It is better to introduce the junior person to the senior person.

      In business, gender doesn’t count.

I would introduce first the Junior Executive to the Senior Executive. Example: Ms. Catherine Jacob, I am pleased to introduce our Junior Executive, Mr. James Brown.
